The large gallery sitting room is filled with light, right up to the cathedral ceilings. A colorful rug that Carol-Ann dragged home from Tunisia, dresses up the newly refinished parquet wood floor. You can

The cozy bedroom has a new queen-sized bed, with 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. The room is decorated with keepsakes and childhood works by daughter-artist Kathryn Greenslade Armstrong. Watch some cable TV, do some reading, and get a good night’s sleep.

The apartment has central heat and air conditioning with an electronic air scrubber.
Enjoy the sculpture garden. Take a long walk on one of the community trails that adjoins the Greenslade garden, which is a National Wildlife Federation certified wildlife habitat. The garden has been featured in Carolina gardener Magazine.

Interaction with Guests
We can give you a personal tour of the Organic Forrestry Studio and Forrest Dweller Sculpture Garden. We can arrange visits to other artists' studios in our community.
The Neighborhood
Chatham County North Carolina is a unique rural area with many creative residents.
Getting around
Chatham County is in the country, so walking and driving are the primary modes of transit. We have several miles of walking trails, including the Creekwood Trail just outside our back gate.
Other Things to Note
We are in Chatham, where we enjoy relaxed country living, and invite our guests to make use of our yard and gardens. There is a water garden, several sitting and eating areas, garden paths and arbors... even a hidden rope hammock in an area we call the grove. We want you to feel at home here!
House Rules
Two guest maximum. No pets. No smoking anywhere on the property. Two months maximum. Please don't change anything on the thermostat or open windows. this interferes with the functioning of the air purifier.
